Privacy policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026

Your saved chat history stays on your device. When you ask Spark to generate replies, the submitted content is sent to our service and Google Gemini. We also keep online account, purchase and usage records to operate Spark.

Who operates Spark

Spark: Make them blush! (Android package com.spark.replies) is operated by SE Soft, based in the United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, contact replywithspark@gmail.com.

Information we use

Chat history and screenshots

Saved conversations, drafts, screenshots and generated replies are stored locally within the app on your device. Spark's generation handler does not intentionally write full prompts, screenshots or generated conversations to our Firestore database. This does not mean submitted content never leaves your device or that our providers never retain it.

Only submit content you are entitled to share. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information about yourself or other people, and remove names or identifying details from screenshots where possible.

Why we process information

We use information to provide sign-in, generate suggestions, verify purchases, maintain allowances, investigate reports and protect the service. Where UK data-protection law applies, we rely on performance of our service contract for account access and requested features, and legitimate interests for proportionate service security, fraud prevention and safety review. We may also process information to meet legal obligations. Optional screenshot submission is your choice.

Providers and international processing

We use Google Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Run, Gemini API and Google Play. These providers process information to support account access, hosting, AI generation, purchases and safety. The application's Firestore database is in London; other service processing may occur outside the UK. Applicable provider contractual safeguards govern international processing.

For paid Gemini API services, Google states that prompts and responses are not used to improve its products unless data is voluntarily shared. Google may retain prompts and responses for abuse monitoring; its published policy currently describes a 55-day retention period, subject to applicable exceptions. Additional project logging, if enabled, is governed by its settings and Google's policies. See Gemini API terms, abuse monitoring, and Google's privacy policy.

Advertising, analytics and this website

The current Spark application does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. This information website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, a contact form or browser storage. Its hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and secure the website.

Retention and deletion

Free-trial usage is stored against your account identifier so signing out and back into the same account does not reset your allowance. We do not collect hardware identifiers to manage the free trial.

Local conversations remain until you delete them in Spark, clear app data or uninstall the app. Chats stored on another device must be deleted on that device separately.

Online account, purchase, usage, free-trial, top-up and report records currently have no automatic expiry schedule and remain until removed through account deletion. In-app account deletion is designed to remove the Firebase sign-in account and associated records from Spark's application database. Provider-managed logs and any backups follow their separate retention policies; deleting a Spark account does not immediately erase every provider-managed record.

Request account deletion

To delete your account, open Spark → Settings → Delete account and confirm. You may need to sign in again first. You can also request deletion by emailing replywithspark@gmail.com from your account email address. We may need to verify your ownership before acting. Do not send your password or purchase token.

Deleting your Spark account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play subscriptions.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of personal information, obtain a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority.

Age and sensitive content

Spark is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not intend to provide the service to children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us.

Updates and contact

We will update this page when our information practices change and revise the effective date. For questions about this policy, contact replywithspark@gmail.com.
